CSBA: Sock Puppet Parade Update 2016

So back in 2011 & 2012 Candice Schwager, our favorite Atty4Kids and ElderLaw Advocate was using tons of sock puppet accounts on a regular basis.  She used them to attack people that were critical of her, to try to influence voters & to stir up support/donations for her “non-profits.”  She has used these sock puppets to attack peers, attorneys, elected officials, judges’s, along with regular people.  She could be anyone except Candice when she was using these accounts, thus language and content was wide open—racist, anti-gay, bigoted, anything could have been part of one of her sock puppet rants.  She was even called out for association with these accounts in several court filings but she denied that she had any involvement in those posts (more about that in a future post).  It is usually pretty easy to spot the sock puppets.  After a while she was changing sock puppets, well, like most people change their socks.

So we catalogued as many of her sock puppets as we could find. That was like 4 years ago.

In a stunning 90+ tweet bender this morning that we are calling the “Sour Candy Chemical Play List”, she came out of the closet so to speak, at least as far as some of her sock puppets (not on her true feelings for missing bff: JL).  We are going to say, “Lola” was by far our favorite, I think it was the unfortunate name.  Lola, like many other Candy accounts, had a pretty good “relationship” with one of our survey accounts, but the Lolas were really fraught with problems from the get-go, the back story and everything for Lola really fell flat.  Not to mention singlehandedly torpedoing the #TGDN movement, what’s not to love?

What is funny to us the thought that she had a Kate Hudson Look-a-like but can’t remember the Sock Puppets Name. ;-)

I Feel Pretty, Oh So Pretty, I feel Pretty and Witty and Gay!

We are pretty sure that Candice Schwager, our favorite Atty4Kids and ElderLaw advocate, is still on community supervision for the DUI conviction/plea from the Intoxicated Assault with a Motor Vehicle court case against her, which makes her recent selfie post very puzzling to all of us here at the CSBA.

If you look at the whole picture, you can see that the car she is sitting in appears to actually be in traffic, Candy is with out a Seat Belt, and tho it is hard to tell with selfies, it looks to us that she is in the drivers seat?  We do think she is in the passengers seat, giving her the benefit, but it really is hard to tell with selfies.

Everyone take a look and decide for yourself-genius selfie or un-safe at any speed? On a positive note, it looks like Candy is getting much better at photoshopping her selfies, stop hiding behind Reese Witherspoon Pics guurl—snaps to Candy!

CSBA: Some Simple Math? Some Missing Annual Reports?

******* Updated ******

This morning, we were doing a customary re-read of the “CSBA: Some Simple Math? Some Missing Annual Reports?” post, we had noticed some typo’s to correct and were planning to update the article with links to the Texas Comptroller site with the information that resulted in our analysis of the breakdown of franchise fees.  What we noticed today that we did not notice when we originally wrote this posting, this FAQ only applies to franchise fees prior to 2008.  The $150,000/$150,000 threshold for gross receipts in the prior fiscal year and carry over assets into the current fiscal year were not correct to apply to “Attorneys for Special Needs Children.”  The threshold set for prior to 2008 that we had used to base our calculations was actually too low.  In all honesty, it made the notion that Candy would have to pay $1,500 on $150,000 in gross donations and $20,000 to $30,000 in carry over assets actually very plausible.

The point we were hoping to make, was that given the fact that to make the franchise fee of $1,500 work out, as Candy had stated in the tweet that was part of her massive Q&A over the legitimacy of Atty4Kids, a reasonable person would not understand why she would not have paid the $1,500 to maintain the charter that is necessary for operating in Texas.  After all, if you received $150,000 in gross receipts in one fiscal year, 1% is not some overreach.  Likewise, as a “charity” it is the charity’s responsibility to make a lot of this information public, how much they received as donations/income, how much they paid staff, how much they paid in grants, what the overall liabilities were and what the assets were.  In other words, is her figure of $1,500 plausible, does her decision to forgo paying it appear to be reasonable, and as always, where is the money going, where are the “charities” documents to support any of this.

So how did this go off the rails?  Apparently, after 2008, we have discovered that there were some changes to how the franchise fees were calculated, for one, it is no longer as simple as looking at gross receipts & carried over assets.  There are now 3 or 4 different calculations that must be applied and then the least $’s of those calculations is what is used to figure the franchise fees, including what appears to be Net receipts/profit.  We are going to spend some time working thru those calculations based on $1,500 in franchise fees due to determine what the break down would or could be based on revised rates.  So far the number we keep coming back to is a net of $300,000 or so.

The big kicker in all of this is, however, Starting in 2008, it appears that the minimum no-tax-due threshold test for income was set at $300,000, which jumped to $1,000,000 in 2010, increased to $1,030,000 for 2012, 1,080,000 in 2014, and currently for 2016 sits at 1,110,000.  So for the year that we are directly discussing, 2011,, if these tables and what we are reading from the state are indeed accurate and the franchise fee of $1,500 as stated by candice was the true amount due, gross receipts had to be greater than or equal to $1,000,000. That is a staggering number.  Joan, Candy’s BFF, has stated to me on more then one occasion that she does not think there was any impropriety in how Candy has run the purported “charity” Atty4kids, but without the transparency that you would find with other reputable charities to back that up, its simply words from a friend.  In the big picture, it is hard to imagine & understand why the reluctance of Candy to release the proper Annual reports persists, after all, a legit charity has nothing to hide, but then again I think a legit charity would also have a valid charter in the state of TX, right?

As a result of this new information, we have removed the prior blog post and will update this one with new information as we dig further into corroborating Candy’s statement. We at the CSBA are sorry for any confusion that this has created as always, we will continue to research this so that we can present as accurate information as possible.

*** Update 2/27/2016 ***

So after a few energy drinks or something last night, Candy posted some tweets—not so much answering questions raised on this post but rather it appears to us that she intended to double down on the $1,500 franchise fee figure she had thrown out to the world previously.  After all, she wouldn’t want her Press Secretary Joan to see it any other way.  Joan, btw, has stopped tweeting from @Joan_LaLoca & @Jan_of_arc_ and moved on to one of her other Sock Puppet Accounts, @synthespia1, as seen in Candy-Canes tweets below, we think it was supposed to be a secret, so don’t tell anyone, @Jannofarc is of course one of Candy-Canes sock puppet accounts #BirdsOfAFeather.  Ok, so a couple of the tweets:

The EZ form for Texas Franchise Fees for 2010 can be found here!  First, we invite all of our readers to print this form out and fill it out given the information supplied by Candy in the above tweets and see if you come anywhere close to the $1,500 in franchise fees Candice says were the demise of the Attorney’s For Special Needs Children “charity’s” Texas Charter.

When we tried it with just the $500 in donations, as stated by Candy-Cane, and assumed that all of that money came from Texas and that there were no expenses, discounts or deducts, which should have yielded the highest franchise fee due, we calculated just $2.875 in franchise fees, far below the $1,500 that Candice has stated was due—what number did all of you get? Further, if we were to include any of those $539 in expenses stated by Candy, that franchise fee number would only go down.  One thought on those expenses: a net expense of $39 to create a vehicle that markets one’s “web/sm marketing business” and “Law Firm” for a year is pretty cheap, wouldn’t you say?  #FinancialStake

Now, this exercise clearly ignores 2 important details, if the franchise fees due are less then $1,000 and/or total receipts/income for the year are below the “No Tax Due Threshold,” which we believe to be $1,000,000 in 2010,  then there would be NO FRANCHISE FEE DUE as stated just below item 17 on the franchise fee form. #AlwaysReadTheFinePrint  Likewise, it ignores that a 501c3 organization is exempt from franchise fees in TX.

This all brings us back to the bigger question of why a purported “charity” that is purportedly a 501c3 organization would allow/have its Charter Revoked over $1,500 in Franchise Fees that, according to Candice, it owes when the math does not add up to the “Charity” owing any franchise fees at all?  And when did the word “Bankrupt” come into this discussion?

Bankrupt(?) + Revoked Charter + Lack of Transparency = is/was Legit Charity? Seriously?

On a totally different note, Candice wants everyone to know that she has once again been awarded a certificate from the Texas Bar recognizing all of her “Pro Bono” work. “Snaps for Candice”  We at CSBA are so proud of you we are beaming from Ear to Ear and have decided to give some $$$’s to a WORTHY charity in your honor.  We love your Ben Carson, “things are starting to happen” attitude—keep it up Candy-Cane.

CSBA: Marcia, Marcia, Marcia…

The last few days for the Candice Schwager Blog Archive have been interesting.  We had been approached by Joan, a friend of Candice’s, to discuss finding a resolution to our issues with Candy that could lead to some kind of change with the CSBA.

As a blog dedicated to free speech and to the thoughts of Canidce Schwager, Atty4Kids, we did not hesitate to voice our opinions, offer facts and express a good faith willingness to discuss anything with Candice, as long as she was civil ;-).  In doing so we explored many areas and topics in our discussions with this intermediary that we had thus far not explored on this here educational blog.

One real sticking point we had given was that Candice needed to directly address our questions concerning the purported “Atty4Kids” charity by releasing the appropriate annual reports for 2010, 2011, 2012 & 2013.   Any VALID Charity would have Annual reports for each year of operation—Annual reports are something that the charity is required by law to keep, file with the state and provide anyone who asks for them.  Of course there were a couple of off the cuff comments by Candice that in no way shape or form address the issue of “where are the annual reports."

CSBA: Some Simple Math? Some Missing Annual Reports? was the first post to come out of the issues we explored in our discussions with the intermediary.  Its a good read if you want to read how we debunked (or created more questions to) Candy’s answer’s on why her “charity” did not have a valid charter to operate.

Over the Weekend, Candy dubbed the CSBA the “Geek Squad," and if I am not mistaken, she tweeted her response to having a dialog three times yesterday:

Guess she told us!  Ironically the last one looks just like my cat!  As always, this is the Candy we “love”—we are as committed as ever to preserving her story and her history.  We hope that all of our readers agree, that with out Candy, none of this would exist, and for that We Thank Her!  Feel free to tweet her a "thank you” for her inspirational words @RenegadeAtty

CSBA: Harris County—Land of the Free’d!

We want to thank Candy’s BFF, soulmate, Surrogate & This Weeks “Candice Schwager Blog Archive” MVP Joan “LaLoca” or “Jan Brady” depending on which feed you are following for pointing out this great article.  Everyone should take a read.

I think the big take away for us is that in 2014, Deputy District Attorney Inger Chandler changed things up.  Instead of being reactive to convictions to determine if they are valid or wrongful,  the department has taken a proactive approach to ensure that all the i’s are dotted and t’s crossed as relates to the lab work and proving that the substances the person is being convicted for in drug possession cases are truly the substances they had in their possession—no false positives.
"To keep from repeating the mistake, the Harris County District Attorney now has a policy of not accepting guilty pleas in drug cases until the supposed drugs are tested.
Further, they are working to stamp out people making plea deals for a lessor crime so they do not receive a harsher punishment for something they are actually innocent of in the first place or because they do not want it to drag on for ever.  Even today, a tweet from Candy eludes to this idea of being tired and taking the plea deal for the DWI rather then continuing on the path of trial by jury:

So the question has to be asked, if the DA’s office implemented these new policies in early 2014 and Candice’s plea deal, in Harris County, was late 2014, would that guilty plea acceptance by the DA’s office been contingent upon the toxicology report supporting the DWI that Candy pled to?  Would this plea deal have been vetted and approved by that department to even go forward—as it apparently does in other kinds of cases such as drug possession?

Regardless, I for one am happy to see that a DA’s office is working to ensure that those convicted are not wrongly convicted and that those taking plea deals are not doing it simply to lessen the impact of a wrongful conviction.

I know, you all thought I was going to end it without pointing out the obvious, and that is, Candice Schwager thru her puppet and surrogate Joan hopes that by pushing people towards this article it will open up doubt in her conviction, that we will all of a suddenly think that she was wrongly convicted rather then getting off easy with a plea deal, that her plea deal was about lessening the “wrongful conviction,” that ultimately, somehow we would know in our hearts that she was truly innocent.

I think the effect is the opposite!   We looked up wrongful conviction demographics, in one article, it can be extrapolated out that white women such as Candice represent less then 3% of all wrongful convictions with an even fewer, .2% or less falling under White Women convicted of crimes like  DWI/Intoxicated Assault with a Vehicle among other non-robbery & non-murder crimes.  Thus, out of 1,000 wrongful convictions only 2 could match Candice by demographic and charges, a that is a big “could match.” That is a very small number, especially when you factor in the amount of valid convictions that happen each day in this country, the odds are certainly NOT in her favor.

Further, I think the lengths that the DA’s office of Harris County is going thru in this article to not only reverse but prevent wrongful convictions and wrongful plea deals in the first place not only validate and strengthen Candy’s DWI conviction exponentially but work to strengthen the confidence in the system that innocent until proven guilty still rings true!

—What do all of you think? Candy, Joan, any comments?

CSBA Wishes a Happy 45th Birthday to Candice!!!

As our hearts fill with sadness as the realization that Candice’s 45th birthday marks that the sunset is probably closer then the sunrise, lets each take a silent moment and think of the bright side…

Now that we have gotten that out of the way, lets talk about a couple of other things.

It has been a crazy year for us on our other projects, so we are a little late in reporting this, the civil suit against Candice was dropped back in november.  We have LOTS of thoughts on this, but lets just leave it at that for now. Also from november, Candice probably has a drivers license again, so beware and be safe if you are anywhere near motor vehicles in Harris County.   You never know when she could be on your street.  Likewise, just a reminder, her community supervision will be up towards the end of this year.  We currently have several posts in the works to discuss 2015 events in greater detail.

Every time we debate if we should write any new posts, we are reminded that: we get both new and repeat visitors every month, without us-who would take up the cause of being Candice Schwager’s #1 fan site, we get fan mail (even one marriage proposal) from all over the globe, it gives us a place to practice humor,  but most importantly, Candice continues to come across our collective radar—this is no small feat considering the mountains of research we do on a daily basis.  We ultimately feel it is important for history and education that her thoughts and principals do not go unnoticed or unrecorded.

While 45 years on this earth is an accomplishment for anyone, I think it goes double for Candy-Cane, considering some of the choices she has made in the past.  Its like she is a cat with all those 9 lives.  Speaking of cats, we want to give a few shout outs: to Honey the puppy, you are as cute as a button and we hope your mommy continues to post your pictures on her twitter-is a nice counter point to all the bs spam she throws up; to Robin, it is nice to see that you still regularly check in on us to see if there is anything new; to Joan, we have not yet formally met, but I am certain we will be fast friends while we sort out if you are a real person or just another personality/sock puppet; and finally to all of Candy’s Sock Puppets, keep on trucking.

As always, we thank Candice for our continued success as this educational blog would not be possible without her vision, her amazing reputation and her scorched earth strategies. HAVE A GREAT BIRTHDAY SUGAR PLUM—Make 2016 a great year for the Candice Schwager Blog Archive, we know you will.

CSBA: Seriously?

So I happened across this tweet/retweet last night.  So @joan_lacoca posts this graphic of Candy in the passenger seat of a Mercedes SUV and Jesus at the wheel with the caption of Candy saying: “Jesus Take the Wheel” and Jesus saying: “I Can’t Drive” and then Candice retweets it.  Seriously? You can’t make this sort of thing up.  So does anyone else find this in bad taste?  Given Candy’s history with Mercedes SUV’s, is it appropriate to retweet this?  For us the Jury is still out on if Joan is a real person or just another Candice Sock Puppet.

If Joan is a real person, then was she totally mocking Candy-Cane with this post? The conversation between Candy and Joan that follows is a bit disjointed so we are leaning sock puppet. If it is a sock puppet account, then WTF is going thru Candy’s head that she thinks this a great graphic to put out into the world!

Related: Small Business Employees Texting

Update: So at some point this AM, Joan fearing for the wrath of Candice over this post completely turned her account off while she tried to figure out what to do.  Eventually, she did figure out how to delete the tweet so the graphic no longer shows up—I am certain tho, it is only a matter of time before a screen capture of it shows up and when it does we will be linking to it.   Also, from the clunky manner and lack of double down on Joan’s part, we are leaning towards Real Person, not sock puppet and at the time she did the graphic, she was def. mocking Candy—more on that later…

Update 2: That didn’t take long… ;-)

Update 3:  So Candy’s new Pawn & Puppet, Joan, has really lost it over this post.  She is trying to do anything and everything she can to try to get this screen cap of her original tweet that Candy-Cane retweeted and praised, I might add, removed.  In total Candy fashion she pulls out that she is the victim, she complains about her account that was suspended over copyright infringement, that she pulled down the graphic because we were infringing upon her copyright, etc.

Once again, we feel we are 100% within Fair Use.  It is both relevant news and worthy of debate.  A Reminder to all, when this original tweet was published and retweeted, Candy was not even a year into community supervision for her DWI guilty plea in the Intoxicated Assault with a Vehicle case and the related civil court case was still pending over what happened when she was at the wheel of a similar model of Mercedes SUV.

Joan and Candice may not have seen a correlation when they were coo-coo’ing each other over how flattering it was for Joan to make such an inspirational graphic of Candice, but the insensitivity and inappropriateness of the graphic is staggering and very apparent to the rest of the world.  When we pointed that out, instead of admitting to such and apologizing they both doubled down and it was everyone else, not them, who had a lapse in judgement.

Here are a few of the tweets from yesterday and this am:

Update 4:
Ironically, of all the posts and editorials on CSBA, this one has had resonated the most.  I am really surprised the amount of hand-wringing that has come about over this graphic, tho the most vocal was of course, Candy’s seemingly: BFF, Surrogate, Soulmate, Puppet, Press Secretary & Graphic Designer; Joan.

So first things first, in our first update, we stated that we were Leaning towards: (1) Joan being a real person and (2) that it appeared to us that Joan was mocking Candy when she posted the graphic.

As a Matter of disclosure, Joan has sent us many messages, and we have touched on those in other posts.  She has asked not to be quoted, so we will not quote her directly at this time, however, when appropriate we will reference overall sentiments and summarize what has been expressed to us by Joan and identify it accordingly.

So, do we think that Joan is a real person or a sock puppet?  We feel 99.99% sure that Joan is a real person with a real last name, sock puppets of her own and everything, tho, we will say we absolutely know and knew that LaLoca was not a real last name, curiously it does sound like a Drag Performer Stage Name, we are picturing a Hot Blooded Latina, thick overdone makeup with a bowl of fruit on her head kind of act.  However, since she didn’t give us her real last name when she intro’d herself to our primary curator, we didn’t give her any of ours.

As to the question of if Joan was mocking Candy with this graphic in the first place: it is really hard to say how we feel on that subject, we still feel that on some level that there could have been Mocking.  We have been told in several messages from Joan that this was just an incredible coincidence, that there was no intention of mocking and it was simply Joan putting a graphic together that represented one of Candy’s blog posts (that has since been taken down).  Further, Joan has communicated that she felt it was completely wrong on our part for pointing out the graphic at all.  So we can take Joan at her word?

At the end of the day, when we look at the time line, previous posts/tweets from and related to Joan + Candy, Joan & Candy’s CooCoo’ing each other with love-praise-affection, it would be hard to make a case that it was consciously Joan mocking her, after all  we see so much “worship” of Candy by Joan in her old tweets, but it is equally hard to make the case that Joan was void of any knowledge of any of Candy’s history, considering how “all in” she became with Candy Land life, issues and feuds in such a short period of time, so I think it is just as far fetched that it was an “absolute” coincidence.  For Us the issue was and has always boiled down to  judgement on Candy’s part.  At no time has Joan or anyone else given us reason to think or believe that Candy retweeting Joan’s graphic should receive a free pass on the insensitivity/inappropriate/bad taste scale.  If anything, what has been expressed to us in private has only strengthened our belief that not only was this retweet incredibly insensitive but we also wonder if Candice knew what the second interpretation could be before she retweeted it and she was ok with it that day and every day after because it could serve a specific purpose for Candice, after all:  Candy didn’t post it, how would Joan know about the accident, It was all just a big coincidence, Joan was just trying to be Funny Ha-Ha, Candy didn’t think about the other interpretation, i.e. Yet Specific People could be hurt or offended but Candy hands remain clean—and it could be deleted at anytime—until of course it got pointed out as being insensitive and people took notice.  Go Figure…

Fun Fact: before Joan’s twitter account @No_Elder_Abuse was suspended, it contained over 700 tweets to or retweets of @RenegadeAtty alone.  Thats 20%+ of the visible tweets.

Update 5:

Despite all the worship, it appears that there could be trouble in Coo-Coo-Ing land.

It certainly is not, nor is truth and justice…

@No_Elder_Abuse_ is(was?) of course Candy’s BFF, Soul Mate, Press Secretary, Cheerleader, Ego Fluffer, Spokesperson, puppet, muscle and general right hand, Joan (@Joan_LaLoca, @Synthespia1, & @Jan_of_Arc_).  I would be dishonest if I said we have lots of questions about this tweet, but having followed the exploits of Candy for many years, you learn that there is a certain pattern to her life and this is simply the same [runaway] train ride, just different day and different puppets.

It has certainly been apparent in our various communications with Joan that she was conflicted between her unconditional support/worship of Candice and the cracks in Candice’s side of the story(s) as well as gaps in the person Candy portrays herself to be vs. who she shows herself to be thru her words and actions.

Well Said Joan, Well Said!  It will be interesting to see if this is a permanent change in the Candy & Joan Show or if this is simply another bump in their Liz Taylor/Richard Burton-esqu Womance.

Crazy Train Still Rolling…

Ok, so here is what we know at this moment.  After one delay after another, yesterday was the day.  What we know is that the court records indicate that the result of yesterdays scheduled hearing was “Pled Guilty” and the next appearance will be next week for “Sentencing” on 11-17-2014.

What is not know?  Well, we don’t know if Candice Schwager pled guilty to the full charge or if there was a plea deal or some reduced charge yet.

It could very well be that some deal was made that she pled guilty to a lesser charge and ultimately the court does not decide if she was guilty of intoxicated assault with a vehicle.

So where does the crazy part come in? Well, in true Candy fashion she has taken this opportunity to blog about her feelings:

and

As always, she keeps it classy and professional (we fully expect that she will pull these posts within hours, which is def. her MO).  As always, tho, she pulled the political scape goat out and trotted it around.

Its important to note, that in her big case against her son’s school that involved the earth shaking RICO charges against everyone on the school’s side, she has claimed victory over the school time and time again.  In fact, she has made a career of chasing short buses and guardianship cases based on her “heroics” in taking on her son’s school district. What she doesn’t tell people is that she dropped the case in the final days of safe harbor protection.  The case(s) never proceeded to court, so there was no judgement against the school or staff, no RICO convictions, she didn’t win, she didn’t prove anything legally, and she certainly didn’t change things.  In reality, she did have one victory over the school’s defense team tho, because she dropped her claims before the expiration of the safe harbor laws, they could not counter claim frivolous lawsuit against her.

So, given that, I would take her blog post with a grain of salt.

So next week, there will be a sentencing, and after that, the Civil proceedings will be here before you know it.  Just remember tho, if you read it in a tweet, it must be true!

And the First Shoe Drops…

We are getting word that Candice Schwager may have pled guilty in the Case of Intoxicated Assault with a Vehicle today.  We do not, however, have any details as of yet, nor do we know for certain what she pled guilty to.  We will update when we have more information…

Watching Paint Dry and Lessons Learned!

So it has been a really long time since we have felt the need to update this blog.  Much of it has to do more with the reality that thru one stall tactic after another, Candice has put off her trial date numerous times.  Even earlier this week, a motion seamed to have been granted to stall once again.  As a result of these many stall tactics, there has been nothing to spend keystrokes on.

Tho, there has been several changes in Candy’s profession life, numerous changes in sock puppet names and accounts on twitter, and as always, a whole slew of disjointed blog posts, most changes and posts have been centered on her new area of practice, Elder Abuse/Elder Law.  So far we have been pretty neutral on our observations of the Elder angle, and have not found anything that we felt furthered the conversation that we began on this blog, nor have we seen anything in her posts that we wanted to comment on.  Don’t get us wrong, she still can turn a phrase just as she did before chicksandpolitics.com became a random advertisement blog for things like Eye Lid Surgery to open the eyes up more????

This week, our “meh” feelings towards her new blog posts changed, in the middle of countless posts about probate, elder abuse, guardianship and the like came a post that actually caught our collective eyes.

“Lessons Learned from Under the Bus!” is definitely worth a read.  We have voted and we think that the obscure blog she references in this post is this little blog right here.  But that isn’t the important part.  Of course there is VAGUE disdain for Liberals, media, a certain democrat sheriff, our blog, etc., as only Candy can dish, but there are also a few interesting passages to ponder:

Have you ever been thrown under the bus by a friend or boss and make the “sacrifice” for their aspirations or goals?…You learn many lessons from under the bus, with betrayal being one you have quite likely already experienced.
“My “under the bus” experience occurred when my legal skills crossed paths with dirty politics in the 2012 Sheriff’s race.”
“What have I learned? Well, some things I already knew, the single most important is this: True Leaders do not “throw people under the bus” to advance their goals or careers.
“Much like a ship Captain, if the ship sinks, they remain at the helm. You don’t see them running for the life boats. If you consider this, it’s quite obvious we have few leaders in Texas or the U.S. I cannot name one man or woman in a position of authority who lives by the Captain’s creed. Other lessons I will just summarize: Don’t be naive! Stay away from politicians! Document everything and pray at all times! Consider tape recording conversations and photographing if you have doubts. Most smart phones have apps with recorders that are discreet and easy to use. Never take anyone’s word for it, get a contract. Never trust promises, only watch behavior and determine for yourself if the person’s behavior matches their words. Don’t react to attacks against your character. Ignore it. Do not warn anyone you intend to sue or file a grievance, just do it.”

“I am not unique. I am willing to bet most of us have been under that bus at one time or another. The betrayal and absolute lack of concern for your wellbeing by people you trusted is a bitter pill to swallow, but such is life.”
Its certainly interesting that this introspective post, especially the passages we have quoted, reads as if it is an intended message for a person or persons who she trusted to have her back thru her falling on the sword so to speak and taking one for the team.  Considering the results for the Guthrie for Sheriff campaign and Candy’s shadow campaign for Guthrie, we wonder who the captain and sinking ship really refer to? After all, she certainly has never trusted the media, liberals, dems, or the like so how could they have betrayed her? ;-)

For those of us who are used to the theatre that is politics, we have few doubts as to Candy’s true relationship with the former Guthrie for Sheriff campaign, its primary benefactor, Mr. Pyne, or even a Conservative Pundit and Columnist named David.  Nor do we have any doubts on how those people saw Candice or her convenience to their end goal.

Likewise, those of use who encountered Candice’s name multiple times in research long before the DMCA issue blew up have trouble with the idea that she was innocent or naive in her actions and involvement in the political realm or outside of politics for that matter.  Tho, we certainly feel that Candy never thought that she would be the victim of “Friendly Fire” from her own campaign, but in the end, we are confident Candy new that in politics there is always “goats” and if her shadow campaign was to go south, who that scape goat would be.

Anyone else have feelings of a “Candice Schwager Effect” after news broke about Clayton Kelly’s blog and involvement in the McDaniel/Chochran primary in Mississippi? Maybe Candy isn’t a household name, otherwise, Kelly would have known better. Eh, another lesson not learned in politics guess?

Have you ever been thrown under the bus by a friend or boss and make the “sacrifice” for their aspirations or goals? If so, you know how awful the experience can be. It seems as if it will never end sometimes! But, rest assured, it does. And, while you may receive vindication in this lifetime for the betrayal, know that if you don’t see it, it’s coming. You learn many lessons from under the bus, with betrayal being one you have quite likely already experienced. Depending upon the severity of your injuries, you also learn how to never let it happen again! Take it from me, you never see that first hit coming. I didn’t. I suppose God wanted to relieve me of naivete, from which I still occasionally suffer lapses.

CSBA: Nip & Tuck?

Over the weakened, atty4kids.org received a face lift.  It appears that Candice Schwager has decided to remove the emphasis on her "non-profit" Attorney's for Special Needs Children and push her brand back to her Law Practice.  There has not been an Annual Report, List of Board Members, Board Meeting Minutes, Form 990, or anything else that answer the question of legitimacy that have plagued AFSNC and its President/Chairperson since the Charter was Forfeited this past year.   We thought that since the State of Texas Charter was Forfeited, this facelift was positive proof that she was moving on from the questionable "non-profit."

Well, our assumptions would be wrong.  Candy has launched her annual "iPads for Autism" fundraiser.  She is ready to take your donations via Pay-Pal.  We hope that there genuinely are autistic children on the other side of those dollar's, however, with so many questions about the "non-profit" itself, we certainly have questions about this fundraiser as well.

CSBA: Happy Court Day!

So here is where we are at:  Obviously, it has been pretty slow all year as far as CSBA is concerned.  Candy for her part, has pretty much tried to stay out of our view, at least under her own names, tho, she has had a few blips here and there, a stint as co-host on blogtalk radio with @mericanRefugee, a random tweet here or there, some suspect topix.com posts, going before a judge to ask to get her drivers license back so she can travel with her family on vacation. For the most part, tho, pretty mundane and boring (Aside from Candice returning to the streets of stop and go.)

Candy has spent a lot of time devoted to Minecraft, who would have thunk it?  Tho, if you read some of her tweets in her Minecraft "Drag" its all Candy at Candy's best… We have to admit, we probably like @MissMinecraft much more then we ever liked @RenegadeAngie tho, these days, it is @RenegadeAngiee as someone else took @RenegadeAngie while Candy was @MissMinecraft … Hard to keep up with, we know, but then when you change twitter handles like Amanda Bynes changes personalities, you know what you get…

We at CSBA have been very busy with some other projects, so the fact that it has been slow on the Candy front, has not hurt any of our feelings.

Before we forget, we want to give a Shout Out to our favorite reader, Robin, who has faithfully checked our site since the beginning, relaying all the updates to Candy in such a timely manner, and we want to thank you for all your diligence, and frankly, your stick to it, even thru our hiatus!  Go Robin, Go Robin, Go-Go-Go Robin!

U - G - L … wait thats another cheer for another day. ;-) Sorry, we get so caught up in the moment when it involves Cheerleading, spankies,  and pom-pons.

So the big news for today:  It's Trial Pre-Conference Day, with the first day of the trial scheduled for next week!  Yes, thats right, the trial is finally upon us, like a kid waiting for Christmas, it has felt like an eternity has passed in getting to this day, but today is the Trial Pre-Conference-and thus it begins.

Will there be any surprises in the coming days? A sudden plea deal to avoid becoming a jail house bride? a delay? a surprise witness? or a witness stand rant by Candy about "photographers, corrupt politicians, democrats, jail broken iPhones, NSA surveillance, RICO, short bus chasing, illegitimate special needs children charities, and her other conspiracies theories"? who knows?  One thing we will bet on, however, Candy, in true Candy form, will be entertaining and will be working her tail off to spin it all in her direction.  Will she be successful, will her defense sway a jury after she nearly killed 2 people or will she drop character allowing her true crazy to come out for all in court to see? For as slow and boring as the last 5 months have been, we predict things might get a bit more exciting for the next few months.   Time for some Popcorn!

CSBA: Happy 42nd Birthday Candy

Today is Candice and her 3 dozen + Aliases/Sockpuppets/Personalities' 42nd Birthday, we hope our get out of jail free card arrived in the post earlier, tho, we only sent one, so all of you Aliases/Sockpuppets/Personalities will have to rock paper scissors for it.

As for our loyal readers, today would be a good day to tweet, a special thought or wish for Candy.

In any event, as we are not as aged as Candice, we wonder, are the Forty-Two's like the Terrible-Two's? well, a year from now, she will probably be able to answer that, one way or the other.

I would say, Have a drink on us, Candy, but we think that would probably violate your pre-trial conditions-ehh?  But really, who's looking, its not like they are doing alcohol/drug testing on you like regular or anything are they. ;-)

CSBA: Radio Radio, Here I Am. (Updated)

The radio broadcast should be on in 15 minutes at 8pm Easter, 7pm Central, 6pm Mountain, 5pm Pacific.

http://www.blogtalkradio.com/newguards/2013/01/22/newguardsus-far-right-no-apolgies

The main page is http://www.blogtalkradio.com/newguards

Oh, and and this tweet went out today for Roger Dorn:

And in the spirit of fair and balanced, he blocked @RagDollArchive right after he tweeted it.  :-)

*** Update ***

Ok, from what we understand, those playing our drinking game got a little tipsy keeping up with everything Candice said on BlogTalk.  Tho, what did she really add to the conversation?  After all, most of what she said she had already said this past summer.  Two interesting points tho:  First, it was interesting that Roger Dorn had to "lead" the witness into corroborating what she had already said on his show, and a couple of times actually correct or added to her account, so me-thinks its getting harder for Candice to keep her story straight.  Second, I don't think I can recall when Roger Dorn had to stop his guest every 5 minutes to repeat a legal disclaimer to distance his show from what the guest was saying, could that be part of HIS response to our tweets earlier that day?  In any event, I don't think he used the disclaimer the first time around, so that is very interesting.

We have been working on a a couple of projects with pressing deadlines so we have not had a chance to really dig into the radio show, tho, first blush, only a few things to really dig into.

The biggest takeaway, its still just a bunch of baseless talk, where's the facts, where's the corroboration, where's the truth.  Saying something over and over doesn't make it true, after all, I say at least 2 times per week that I will be the next lottery winner, and so far saying it a thousand times a year hasn't made it true.

Ultimately, our put to Roger Dorn is where's the fact checking.  You sit there and spoon feed your guest her own answers, but yet, not one thing has been verified, not one thing pressed or questioned.  For instance, why has she had to "merge" her special needs kids "non-profit" with her law practice? We know there is a good answer, because we have already written about it the valid of the non-profit and the fact it no longer has a valid charter for the state of Texas.  She mentioned her car being broken in to, well on the prior show her car was "stolen" and the police were sent to her house about it, yet there is no record of a 911 dispatch to her house for ANY reason, let alone a stolen or broken into car.

Roger, one important note, her "Intoxicated Assault with a Vehicle" arrest, if you read the report, you will see that she was not arrested for alcohol.  After all, in the state of Texas, Intoxicated does not apply to just alcohol. So we will whole-heartedly agree with both you and Candice that alcohol was not involved, ultimately tho, we will have to see what happens in court.

She accused the writers here at the CSBA of getting her friends suspended, however, its pretty hard for 3 people with accounts that have nearly 0 followers and following nearly nobody to get an account we don't follow, that we don't message, or in any other way contact suspended.  Do we block accounts, yes we do, generally those accounts that participate in @RenegadeAngie's campaign to get us spam-blocked, but we do not use the spam-block method ourselves, as we agree with Todd Kincannon that people should be free to tweet.  More importantly, any idiot would know that our purpose both on this blog and in twitter is to record and gather, not censor, so trying to get accounts suspended is counter productive to our goals.  Duh.

We also know from previous experiences, that Candice has no problem directing her friends to do things that will get them suspended or lead them to a suspension, its also par for her to be the one spam-blocking not only those she considers her advisories but those she calls friends if it works to her advantage.  Likewise, @RenegadeAngie has no problems faking all kinds of things including suspensions, hackings, break in's and the like in order to cast herself as the martyr.  We are comfortable and confident saying that we certainly believe that @RenegadeAngie's bff @LolaSpicola, @LolaPSpicola and/or @LolaServes is a good example of a friend that has been directed by Candice to take her accounts in directions that will ultimately end up in a suspension.  Further, we are fairly confident that Candice Schwager is working to undermine the #TGDN movement because it is counter to her own manner of operating, after all, she is certainly a proponent of spam blocking and censoring.

Anyway, just a few thoughts before we head to dinner.  :-)

CSBA: January 23 Update

Well, its interesting that Roger Dorn, a man that complains about the liberals and left ignoring facts, getting all pissy about the being called to actually look at the facts.  Although we had a prior obligation last night and have not listened to the show, we did hear from one of our readers that every 5 min. Roger interrupted Candice to say a stock disclaimer to cover himself, his co-host and his show from what Candy was saying.  Interesting.

Likewise, he has invited all of you as well as those of us who work on this blog onto his show for the balanced view point, tho, I think that has more to do with a tweet from @RagDollArchive calling him out about fair and balanced then it does actually wanting to hear both sides.  After all, he did spam block @RagDollArchive right after the invite so that he would not receive any of our responses to his offer.

So is Spam-blocking us and then inviting us on your show like telling "me" I am fat and ugly when "I" ask you to dance at the beginning of the night, but then you still trying to take "me" home to screw after last call?  At the VERY LEAST it shows your invite to be in bad faith,  Just Saying!  So I thought the #TGDN members were barred from Spam-Blocking, wonder what Todd Kincannon will think of that, Roger.

Anywho, Here are the relevant tweets.

If you don't want to see our tweets, then don't follow us, you silly Goose!

CSBA: January 20th Update

First, we would like to thank Candice Schwager for repeatedly validating this blog and its contents.  Fun Fact, the only person who has used Google+ to link to our blog posts is Candice Schwager and we thank her for the vote of confidence.  Also, we would like to thank Candy as well as her twitter friends for driving traffic to this blog.  Each time they tweet to one of our twitter accounts about whatever has their knickers in a twist, we see a spike in page views.  In fact, I am happy to share that in the past 4 weeks, we have had our most viewed "month" with over 500 page loads. Thanks a bunch!  Thanks to all of our readers for sticking with us.  Tho, we would love to see more educational comments to the various posts! (Remember you can post ANONYMOUSLY!)

Second, we have found out we are not the only ones keeping notes on the Sock Puppet parade, a recent response by "SG Writes Freely" to a Post on Topix that was attributed to Candice has certainly raised our eyebrows.  Tho, the original post is several months old, and we have mentioned it before, we encourage everyone to read the whole thread from top to bottom Here especially the last few responses.

Third, Friday morning, it appears that one of Candice's pawns/students/surrogates, @LolaSpicola, may have purposely got herself suspended in an effort to allegedly prove that the #TGDN efforts to protect Twitter users from being suspended were superficial.  Unfortunately for the Pawn, the organizer of the #TGDN Effort called her out in his time line for trying to undermine the purpose of the #TGDN and warned the #TGDN members of the impending "smear" campaign.  We can only speculate as to what degree Candy had in shaping the methods and tactics that Lola would use in such endeavors and would not be surprised if Candice did not direct Lola in the "experiment" that led to her suspension, after all, it wouldn't be the first time Candice purposely sent one of her pawns/surrogates to a suspension.

Fourth, we have some breaking news that came across our desk a little over an hour ago.  Tho, the proof is in the pudding, we will let the tweets speak for themselves.  In case she hopes to maintain anonymity again this time, we will simply call the Houston Lawyer Candy ;-) or maybe "Angie"!
We want to thank Roger for the shootout, but we really wish he would have given our blog address in his tweet. BTW, an internal Poll shows that we are digging Roger's new Avi!
Although, we know we are contributing to running up listenership for this Candy's Internet Radio Talk Show Appearance by posting these tweets, fair is fair, Candy and Crew got us more reads, so we feel its our duty to get her more listens. After all, everything Candice says, tweets, blogs and writes is important to someone and we should give everyone the opportunity to hear her out, with her own words.  ;-)

CSBA: January 11th Updates

First, Upcoming dates:

January 29th will be Candy's next appearance for court, tho, this time it will be a non-trial setting.  We had hoped her next setting would be her birthday, but that wasn't in the cards, even the Magic 8 Ball thought we were overly optimistic.

February 4th Candy turns 42.   We are trying to decide: Cake, Balloons, Stripper, Singing Telegram, Orange Jumpsuit, a valid drivers license & gift certificate to Geico, after all, what do you get a woman like Candice Schwager? I think we may just mail her a Monopoly "Get Out of Jail Free" card.

Second,

So in the best Sock Puppet Theatre we have seen in a while, at least since last week, Candice had a great idea to get @SweetKarolinne out of suspension.  Well, not so much out of suspension really (3 strikes and your out), but more like the movie Freaky Friday reincarnation kind of thing.  So in order to reunite @SweetKarolinne with her twitter BFF, Candice renamed @SophiazChoice to be @TweetKarolinne, updated the profile, changed avatars to Kendal Jenner and so on. Voila, @SweetKarolinne lives on.

Now, we are just going to call it what it is, LAZY!  What does it say about your work ethic when you can't even create a new sock puppet from scratch like everyone else?  Yep, LAZY!

The best part, everyone acts like nothing happened, its almost like when they changed out Becky's on the Rosanne show, we all knew it was a new actress, but the cast didn't miss a beat.  Ultimately tho, it is still the same Candice Schwager, pulling the same crap.

CSBA: January 3rd @RenegadeAngie

Candice Schawager will be in court today.  It is our understanding this will be the first court appearance for her since the Grand Jury Indictment, which should be interesting.

Also, Yesterday, one of Candy's sock puppets was suspended, this AM we awoke to find that Candy had protected the tweets of her main account and her sock puppet accounts.  We observed that these accounts went protected while we slept: @RenegadeAngie, @SophiazChoice, @ColleenOMalley and @DanaPenny.  Is there scrubbing going on? We will see.

Check out Sock Puppet Meltdown and Sock Puppet Parade for more on Candice's Sock Puppets.

*** Updates:

We forgot to post the suspended account name: @SweetKarolinne which was unsuspended yesterday and then, as is not surprising, @SweetKarolinne was suspended again yesterday evening.  By our count that is 3 strikes.

CSBA: @PolitixRagDoll Sock Puppet Meltdown?

It has been a head spinning weekend in the Candy-verse!  Did Candice Schwager manufacture a fight with one of her own sock puppets?  Would Candice sacrifice an established sock puppet to make herself look like a martyr?  Would Candice Schwager try to "hack" her twitter followers under the cover of a fight with her own sock puppet?

@PolitixRagDoll has been Candice Schwagers main account for several months now.  However last night, she decided to change the user name to @RenegadeAngie and switched to a Tomb Raider avatar.  Although changing her name is notable all on its own, there may be a bigger connection here.

Much more after the jump!

CSBA: …Pants on Fire Part 3

In our third installment of our response to Candice Schwager's "Making a Difference" post we look at her comments about fighting for the little guy—when all they are asking for is what is owed to them in the first place?

As a tea party conservative, Candy's mantra is smaller government, less government spending, less taxes, etc., She rails against socialism, government handouts, over spending and the like.  In fact she follows that party line pretty strictly in her tweets and blog posts.  She also supports Rep. Paul Ryan's budget proposal that would in fact cut almost all federal aid intended to help states with programs and educational expenses for Special Needs children.

So Candice wants you to have exactly what you are owed by the system.  As a self proclaimed Tea Party Conservative/Social Conservative, that pretty much means the government owes you nothing.  Right? Obamacare=bad, Stimulus=bad, Medicare=bad, Medicaid=bad, Education Funding=bad, Govt. Mortgage Programs=bad—really, anything that would put federal dollars into something, save the military, is bad.

A few years ago, Candice decided to take her son's School District to court over what she felt was what was owed, by the system, to her and her family. When Candice "testified" in front of a senate panel on special needs education, she provided the panel her lawsuit filing as a handout. Here (Big File - Long Download) Lets look at some highlights of what she thinks the government owed her because of her son's physical and mental deficiencies:

CSBA: Breaking News ***

*** Breaking News ***

It appears that a Grand Jury has indicted Candice Schwager on Felony Charges of Intoxicated Assault with a Motor Vehicle.  Although very similar to the original charge concerning a single victim from the accident, this indictment seems to expand on that charge by focusing on the second victim from the accident.

Will this indictment result in more continuations?  The magic eight ball says "As I see it, yes"
