This letter was obtained from the public records of the State of Texas - Secretary of State.
As of the date of this post, the status of Attorney's For Special Needs Children (AFSNC/Atty4Kids) charter has not changed from forfeited. It is our understanding that a lack of charter prevents AFSNC from receiving any donations or engaging in any business in the State of Texas. If anyone understands this aspect of Texas Corporate Law, please email us.
Additionally, the current Website for AFSNC website and related sites do not list the names of the current board of directors, do not furnish an annual report and do not have any other documents about the actual goings on of the non-profit.
What effect does the forfeiture of the Charter have on AFSNC ability to operate, is it still bound by its articles of incorporation, etc. (Documents after the jump)
