Polls for Harris County Sheriff ~ Louis Guthrie 45% lead [Originally Posted Chicks & Politics blog]

Guthrie has been one of two lead Candidates since January. As the community and media became more familiar with Guthrie, endorsements and outstanding media features came in like a tidal wave. Knowing Louis and his clear affinity for leadership, high moral character, and genuine likeability, we knew he would win before the momentum even began. As we head into an 8 Candidate GOP Sheriff primary tomorrow, polls reveal a clear Frontrunner with 45% of the vote. Nice! Given that 8 Candidates remain, 45% is huge! Here’s to Louis Guthrie for stepping up to the plate to command the 4th Largest Sheriff Department in the Nation. Here’s to the journalists who have recognized the “Texas Sized Opportunity” in having a man like Guthrie lead the HCSO. I have no doubt that absent voter fraud, we are looking at a New Sheriff in Town! Our Congrats to Louis and reminder to voters to help a true leader close the deal!
